HOW DO WE START WORKING TOGETHER?
It’s very easy: We find a time to meet up in person. Free of charge we will have a first chat where you have the opportunity to get to know me, see the training facilities and see if it “clicks” for you. We will talk about your goals, wishes and current situation and how to best approach the matter.
Once we have agreed on a mode of service, I will then go through a very thorough anamnesis. That entails your complete injury and movement history, your current movement patterns and work situation, eating habits and complaints.
Thereafter, we diagnose your movement. This involves smaller coordination tasks, range-of-motion and muscle testing. Through them, I can evaluate what parts of your brain and nervous system need more activation, which we will later achieve through deliberate choice of exercises.
Then we will finally get started! to roll out this project together.
WHERE WILL THE TRAINING TAKE PLACE?
At the moment, we preferrably train in Citybootcamp`s HEALTH & PERFORMANCE HUB. Other possiblities are the Citybootcamp Headquarter und FITLIFE GYM. Other than that, all outdoor spots are viable, as well as your home or workplace.
WHAT DOES A PT SESSION TYPICALLY LOOK LIKE?
While there are no “typical” sessions in that sense as they vary according to your decided roadmap, needs and situation, the first part of the session structure usually entails some form of activation. This can be done creatively and playfully, yet it is important as it prepares you for the upcoming loading and prevents injury. The main part will see different forms of strength training, athletic training drills, but also cardio elements. The exat methods may vary from olympic weightlifting, bodybuilding, Crossfit, but also inputs from martial arts training. Neuro elements and cognitive training will be added frequently. To conclude the session, some form of mobility or body work will be used to initiate recovery.
WHY IS BRAIN-BASED TRAINING MORE EFFECTIVE THATN CONVENTIONAL METHODS?
Probably the main reason for that ist hat through my methods, I basically ask your body what stimulus it needs to attain a better state. With a lot of inbetwee-tests I am figuratively „talking“ to you nervous system to see what it really needs.
Eventually, this leads to true and genuine individualization. On top, I can make sure that each session has you going home with better neural function than before.
Given that the brain is „the boss“ of your body, finding a way to communicate with it will lead to faster learning and adaptation. It helps, when „the boss“ is on board and likes what we are doing – as opposed to being ignored, which is often the case.
What’s best about it, is that you will most likely have more fun because of it!
